VTG 1930s Finberg Mfg Co FMCO Guilloche Tango Case Powder Rouge Compact Lipstick

For your consideration is this vintage compact with attached suspended lipstick produced by Finberg Manufacturing Company. According to Collecting Vintage Compacts, FMCO began making vanity cases around 1925 and continued until about 1937. Following suit of other high end compact makers of the time, Finberg produced more expensive guilloché enameled cases. This case is marked with the initials "FMCO". The compact and lipstick tube are both fully enameled over elegant engine-turned designs, called guilloché. The compact has their signature "Attleboro Rose" motif. The compact has a compartment with a closure for loose powder, the original power puff (I steamed cleaned it), Charmanté "Rosebud" rouge (I wrapped the compact in foil), a half-moon-shaped mirror, and the faceplate that holds the mirror and rouge in place.
