Nine inch square hand carved wooden trivet with set in 6” ceramic tile of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. Above the comical hand painted and signed scene it says (translated from Spanish) “Says Quixote, Sancho Panza, no more arguments, get up and help me.” Artist’s signature in bottom right corner. Origin stamp on reverse side. Also, someone has hand written 1941? in pen on back as well. I don’t know the definite age of this but it looks quite old. No chips or cracks.
