Stunning, Rare, 1940s, Sterling Silver, Gold Vermeil (gold over sterling), Blue, Clear Crystal Rhinestone Brooch by JOLLE**.
One small repairable flaw.
This vintage, hand-created beauty measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 1/4" deep with a stylized ribbon heart base and is constructed of Gold Vermeil over Sterling Silver.
A fabulous oval faceted, prong-set, open-back, large blue crystal rhinestone is the center focal point.
12 smaller faceted, prong-set, clear crystal rhinestones arc over the top.
Period correct rollover clasp.
Signed "STERLING JOLLE"**
Very Fine Condition. NOTE: Rollover clasp was pushed too hard and has left a raised dimple on front of the brooch. Rotation of clasp has also been affected. A simple solution for a bench jeweler or a more experienced jewelry repair person. Priced 50% below the secondary value price!
