Adorable vintage frog salt cellar or toothpick holder, likely made of ceramic. It features a frog figure supporting a small, basket-shaped container on its back. This type of item was commonly used to hold toothpicks, and sometimes matches or other small items. I acquired this at an estate sale with a large number of vintage salt cellars, the owner was a collector and took very good of all pieces. It measures 4 inches in length 3 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide. He does have a repair to his front right leg, but it is barely noticeable. There is slight crazing inside the basket and a small flea bite at the top of the basket. Please see photos for any condition concerns, this little fellow is adorable.
