This thermostat housing cover is designed for use with CR-X, Civic, Shuttle, and Concerto models from 1988 to 1991.It is compatible with D14A1, D15B2, D15B3, D15B4, and D16A6 engines.Made from aluminum, the housing features an integrated air vent (bleeder valve) to release trapped air and maintain stable coolant temperature.It installs at the engine coolant water outlet and has a 90-degree neck angle for proper alignment.This product does not include a thermostat, gasket, or seal; these components must be sourced separately.Not suitable for cooling systems requiring a 105℃ evaporation rating.
