This Buy American Act-compliant, American made 100ft / 30m PMT3 Surveyor’s Tape is the official tape used by the US Army in administering their Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). Our PMT3 Surveyor Tape is built as tough as our soldiers. The tape itself is comprised of vinyl with embedded fiberglass yarns to increase durability and preserve accuracy. The case is composed of a water- and UV-resistant polycarbonate-ABS blend for added strength and shock-absorption. A simple, yet strong reel retracts the tape with no tangles and houses it inside a neatly winding open reel system easily capable of shedding dirt, debris, and moisture. Our surveyor tape also features a looped endpiece that is weighty enough on its own to be laid down, or it can be attached to a nail or stake, making it easy to measure courses and performance. The locking mechanism keeps the tape tight and organized when not in use. The tape features both inch and metric increments (inches on top, metric on the bottom). Inch measurements repeat 1-12 and feet are shown in red. Centimeters repeat 1-100, and meter marks are shown in red. Made of durable, non-stretch, nylon reinforced vinyl-coated fiberglass with a rugged ABS plastic case and rubber grips. This tape can be used to measure long distances indoors or outdoors, or as the Army uses it: to demarcate the 6 courses run by soldiers during the ACFT evaluation events.
