TC Bros. Yamaha XS400 Forward Controls

TC Bros. bolt on forward controls for all years of the Yamaha XS400 Special SOHC 6 Speed Twin from 1977-1982.DOES NOT FIT STANDARD, DOHC, OR MAXIM MODELS.Our kit was designed for stock exhaust header pipes, therefore some aftermarket exhausts may not fit without modification.Kit includes a pair of forward controls featuring CNC machined aluminum pegs. The mounting plates are heavy duty powder coated steel and bolt to your front motor mount. The spacers are TIG welded to the mounting plates. Everything bolts on with no frame modifications. Longer motor mounts are included. Each Yamaha XS400 Forward Control Kit includes mounting instructions with pictures.Universal Linkage Kits are not included with this kit but are available from us. Your stock brake pedal and shifter must be modified to attach linkage rods to (See Photos). Everything is explained in the included instructions. This is a very easy mod to do to your Yamaha XS 400 and makes long trips much more comfortable due to the fact that your legs are extended forward rather than bent. Great for choppers, bobbers, or even stock bikes.
