- 🏡Length of cable should be 1-1/2" shorter than wood surface distance（as shown in pic.4); if you want to build a high-quality cable wire railing, standard 3/16" (OD) cable which was made of T316-stainless steel is recommended. Maximum distance between the 2 end posts should be within 16Ft, post space less than 4ft, cable spacing less than 4inch.
- 🏡The lag screws could be drilled into wood to adjust the tightness without an extra turnbuckle or tensioner. Deck and Stair Cable railing system is not only simple but also won't block your view. A hydraulic crimper (Search “B08BQVKM2Z” or Model number “DC01” on Amazon) is needed to connect the cable to lag screws.
