• Sodium lactate can be used in shampoo products and other similar items, such as liquid soaps, as it is an effective humectant and moisturizer.
• Sodium lactate powder can be converted from powder to solution using distilled water. For example, if a formulation called for 10% of a 60% sodium lactate solution, you would use 6% sodium lactate powder and 4% distilled water. If a formulation called for 5% of a 60% sodium lactate solution, you would use 3% sodium lactate powder and 2% distilled water
