Charming handmade Salt Marsh Pottery bowl featuring a pressed botanical impression of Polygala polygama (Field Milkwort), hand-painted in natural pink and green tones. Created in 1993 and signed “Pam” on the base.
Crafted in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Salt Marsh Pottery is known for its unique process of pressing real plants into clay to capture their detail and texture before firing. Each piece is individually hand-finished and inscribed with the plant’s Latin name.
Measures approximately 4.5″ in diameter. Excellent vintage condition with light natural surface variation typical of Salt Marsh pieces. A collectible work of New England studio pottery and botanical art.
