- FITMENT：Pindex digital ignition control box can be installed on any 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines equipped with a 12 Volt electrical system and distributor.
- EASY INSTALLATION：The wiring harness is routed out one end of the control box through a sealed and locking connector which is also available separately. This allows easy installation and keeps the wiring looking neat and tidy. The rev-limiter is located right on top of the housing for easy access to the two rotary dials to set the limit in 100 rpm increments.
- Notice:During installation of this ignition box, all battery cables must be disconnected from the battery. Engine timing will be affected after installation of this ignition box, it must be reset to the engines specifications that is required.
- SAFETY：This ignition control box has a built-in reverse polarity protection circuit. Reverse polarity protection is an internal circuit feature built inside the control box that ensures that components inside are not damaged if the power supply polarity is reversed. The reverse polarity protection circuit cuts off power to the electronic circuits inside the control box.
- PRECISION：This control box features a built-in rev limiter control that provides a smooth and accurate rev limit by dropping the spark to individual cylinders. This produces a load-free rev limit that is within 1% of the selected RPM. The RPM limit is adjusted in 100 RPM increments with the sealed rotary switches under the black cover on top of the ignition control box. Please see programming section of these instructions for more information for adjustment.
- PROTECTION：A set of vibration mounts are included in this ignition control box to allow for mounting. We highly recommend using these rubber vibrations mounts to mount this ignition control box. It stops vibration from damaging the sensitive internal circuit components when the vehicle is in motion
- LED INDICATORS：A red LED light is located on the top of the control box. It is used to monitor the current status of the ignition control box.Note: When the engine is running, the LED will appear to be ON. This is normal and is due to the rapid flashing of the LED on each ignition firing event.
- The LED will flash for every trigger signal from the distributor or crank trigger. You can take advantage of this when statically setting the timing when false triggering the box to troubleshoot. Also, when the engine is not running, the LED will be on when the key is in the ON position.
