Handcrafted, manipulable sculpture of a double-faced character emerging from a poppy capsule. 'Papaveracee' marionette made from paper and textile, entirely hand-painted with acrylic, walnut ink, and varnish. Inspired by a charming drawing, the marionette's head is approximately 5/8 cm by 9 cm, featuring hand-painted faces on pearlescent paper. The capsule is deep to accommodate the character with its drawing-inspired attire, including a petal and fine, transparent textile collar. The character has wooden hands by creator 'Papier-peuplier', a balloon dress, and three paper poppies adorning the capsule. The capsule also has two large, vibrant red and black paper petals. The character stands 26 cm tall, while the poppy with its wooden stem is about 51 cm long.
