It also contains compost - microbes break down compost into nutrients that support root health and development, which increases water efficiency and grows strong plants. This gardening product can be used with indoor or outdoor container plants growing in potting soil, as well as in-ground plants in garden soil. To apply to in-ground plants and established container plants, shake evenly onto the soil within the spread of the palm's fronds using the recommended application rates on the label. Avoid contact with the trunk and foliage. Work plant food into the 1-3 inches of soil, then water to start feeding and nutition delivery for plant growth support. When using with new container plants, mix into the soil at the time of planting, plant your palm as usual, and water to start feeding.
