- HOW SALICYLIC ACID WORKS: BHA softens keratin, a protein that is part of the skin’s structure. It loosens and removes dry, scaly skin, helping to reveal a more rejuvenated complexion.
- USE AND DOWNTIME: Your skin may have light to medium peeling and some areas of frosting (turning whitish color); Do not exfoliate for at least 2 weeks after peel; Do not reapply the peel until at least 3-4 weeks from initial application.
- WARNING/PATCH TEST: We strongly recommend that you conduct a patch test 3 days prior to your peel. Apply Peel Prep behind the neck or under chin. Apply small amount of peel to the area. Leave on 2-3 minutes. Apply Neutralizer to stop peel process. Wait at least 24 hours to observe the results. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
