The PV001GZ is a cordless 180mm Polisher, designed for polishing applications within the car painting industry, powered by 40V Max Li-ion XGT slide type battery (not included) so supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups and less flinging of the polish or wax, variable speed and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load to deliver up to 940W maximum output and 2,200 rpm, high rotation speed for even polishing. The PV001GZ is equipped with a large 2 finger trigger switch with conveniently located lock on button for continuous use, anti-restart function to minimise motor start-up when the battery is inserted with the switch locked on and dust covers to minimise fibres entering the motor. The PV001GZ features variable speed controlled by dial with indication of the maximum rotation speed; range of maximum rotation speed 600 to 2,200 min. The lower maximum rotation speed is ideal for polishing curved parts or narrow spaces and finish polishing and higher maximum rotation speed for removing scratches with polishing compound. The PV001GZ is also designed for reduction of damage to the car body. The battery is positioned for the less likelihood of hitting the car body and elastomer bumpers positioned in the most likely areas to touch the car body. The PV001GZ is equipped with battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over discharge and overload current. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase.
