A 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games collector plate. XX111. Olympiad signed by the artist. Commissioned by Mayor of Los Angeles at the time. Tom Bradley. Rudolfa Escalara was the Mexican American artist who was licensed to create nine paintings depicting the various summer Olympic events. These in turn were converted into porcelain plates. These plates were the official gift presented to dignitaries from throughout the world. This special plate has Rudolfa Escalard's handwritten signature. Beside the official stamped on. A very special plate. Escalard has passed away since. The plate is in a beautiful wood hexagonal frame and aqua mat. I have not seen any on the current market with his signature. Non-smoking pet free home.
