The Little Giant BSWC50T 1/2 hp, 4920 GPH, 115-volt sewage pump is ideal for use in septic systems to move sewage and effluent (black and grey water). This pump can handle up to 2-inch solids and has a 2-inch FNPT discharge. This pump features an epoxy coated cast iron cover, motor housing, impeller and volute and is equipped with a carbon/ceramic/nitril mechanical shaft seal, and stainless steel fasteners and shaft. This pump has upper and lower ball bearings which provides quiet and robust operation. This pump comes with a piggy-back tethered float switch with a 10-ft. cord which activates when water reaches 16.5 - 17.5 inches and shuts off when water falls between 4.23 and 6.23 inches. The pump can be easily converted to a manual pump by unplugging the pump from the switch and plugging it directly into a wall outlet; perfect for servicing/testing the pump.
