JC Lancer

The IM-09 Lancer is the most prevalent Jovian Armed Force Fighter, designed around twin fusion drives beneath its prominent dorsal fin. Like its peers, it struggles with limited range due to its restricted on-board reaction mass. The Lancer's most striking feature is the Advanced Tactical Mission Pod (ATMP), a modular unit enhancing the vehicle's mission flexibility. Most offensive payload is housed within the pod, exchangeable in minutes by a skilled crew. The upper mainframe's large blades serve as an extensive antenna array for both sensing and communicating. The rear section boasts twin, separately armored reaction mass tanks to minimize fatal leaks from combat damage. Lastly, the long dorsal boom carries two crucial systems: an array of heatsinks and the Active Counter-Measure System (ACML) launcher.
