- The LCDI (Leakage Current Detection Interrupter) uses shielded power conductors built into the device. On the input side, it features a NEMA 5-15P plug, while the load side includes a cord with an ungrounded conductor (L), a grounded conductor (N), and a grounding conductor, all encased in shields. This design is intended to protect against fire hazards and leakage current risks associated with power cord aging;
- If the LCDI detects a leakage current below 5mA between the shield wire and either the Neutral or Hot wire, it will promptly trip, cutting off the electrical flow within 0.5 seconds;
- The LCDI power cord is ideal for air conditioning appliances, including portable air conditioners, window-mounted units, and PTAC systems (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners) designed for indoor usage;
- Includes a 14AWG x 3C power cable approximately 2.2 meters in length, featuring terminals for Hot wire (black), Neutral wire (white), and Ground wire (green) for straightforward wiring. Rated at 120 Volts, 15 Amps, and 1800 Watts;
