Gunplay - VIKTOS

The sharp cracks of the compact AR rifle were swiftly muffled by the thick, damp foliage. Residing in the Pacific Northwest, one adapts to the persistent moisture. It's like a gloomy fungus that grows on you. But on such days, the rain had its perks - namely, dampening the echo of gunshots as we dashed and fired across our dense canopy live-fire exercise. The steel targets, strategically placed earlier, remained concealed, challenging the shooter as they navigated the open range. Our take on 'Gunplay' was akin to sporting clays, but with penalties for missed targets. Speed was crucial, but so was a sharp eye and a well-chosen weapon. Bonus points were awarded for an impressive, tactical shooting stance.
