The Size 1 Degas Bright brush is made from seven different mixed synthetic filaments. This brush is stiff enough to push heavy-body acrylics and oil, yet supple enough for the most delicate glazes. The Degas Bright brush is constructed with a long handle, finest bristles with natural flagged tips and interlocked construction. The rustproof nickel-plated brass ferrule is seamless and securely fastened into woodgrain stained handles. They are shaped flat on the end with a slightly thicker middle. Bright brushes create broad and bold strokes when pressed sideways, or use the sharp edges for thinner lines. Sweeping layers can be easily created by dragging the brush across the surface; good for filling in large areas, blocking, and impasto.
