Fabulous Mid Century George Briard clear glass cake plate with a whimsical Sun Shield in gold and other images and accents in olive green. Wonderful example of Briard's mid-century artistic flair and whimsy. Very good pre-owned condition.
No chips or crazing. Some gold color loss throughout the pattern in the "shading", and a few very small scratches in the center of the plate. Pedestal stand cake plate is 10.5" in diameter, stands 4.75" tall on a 4.25" pedestal. the base of the pedestal is 4.25" in diameter.
