| Product Care Instructions | Plant strawberries in spring after ground thaws and frost danger passes. Soak plants before planting. Choose well-drained, sunny location. Loosen soil. Dig hole as deep and twice as wide as roots. Place plants with roots down and crown 1" below soil surface. Space plants 12" apart in rows 3' apart. Cover with soil, water well, keep soil moist but not overwatered. Remove first flowers and runners to establish strong roots. Young plants bear some fruit; 2-4-year-old plants yield abundant crops. |
