1930s~1940s Wool French Fireman Jacket
This is a French fireman jacket, a masterpiece of Euro vintage and French vintage fashion. Indigo linen versions are well-known, but wool versions also exist.
Made of thick Melton wool, the design is reminiscent of a Napoleon jacket, giving it a military feel.
The color is somewhere between black and navy. Personally, I think it looks incredibly cool when worn with slacks, a beret, and leather shoes.
