With the EDIFIER T5 subwoofer with 70 W RMS output power, the frequency spectra of existing speaker sets can be expanded clearly in the depth range. The active subwoofer can do this with frequency ranges from 38 Hz to approx. 200 Hz playback. The subwoofer has a low-pass filter. The frequency range from which the subwoofer should take over the playback of the connected speakers can be adjusted exactly to the desired frequency via a dial on the back of the subwoofer. The bass intensity can also be adjusted via a spearate controller. The subwoofer features an 8-inch front woofer and produces powerful and accurate bass. It is supported by a side-mounted bass reflex channel. The large housing also real wood (MDF) reduces unwanted resonances to a minimum, which further contributes to the excellent sound quality. The T5 subwoofer has an automatic standy function, which automatically puts the subwoofer into standby mode when inactivity is prolonged so as not to consume unnecessary power.
