With their flanges fitting flush with outer walls of tubing, Caplugs K Series Type K Copper Tubing Plugs K-5 are red-colored plugs designed to plug general purpose, Type K copper tubing, SAE Standard J-528, with this model fitting size 5/16", Flange OD 0.31" x Plug ID 0.272". Designed for applications where the outside diameter of the closure does not exceed the outside diameter of the tubing, our K Series plugs provide protection against moisture, dirt and debris. They are fabricated from a low-density polyethylene material (LD-PE), a flexible and durable material that is resistant to water and a wide range of chemicals and weather types and have a service temperature range of -94° F (-70° C) to 175° F (79° C).
