Specifically designed for use on UN/UNS threads in aircraft and hydraulic equipment applications, Caplugs DPN Series Threaded UN and UNS Plugs are blue-colored plugs that seal out dust, dirt and other contaminants while providing ample protection for threads. These plugs are equipped with features that facilitate their use: rolled threads, which meet UN/UNS specifications, allow the plug to be either pushed in or threaded in. Their flanged design creates a tight seal, and external ribs aid in installation and removal. The DPN Series is available in several different sizes, with tube sizes ranging from 3/16” to 1-1/2” and thread sizes ranging from 3/8”-28 to 1-27/32”-14. It has a service temperature range of 0° F (-18° C) to 215° F (102° C).
