Draped Lady (Original Pattern #518) by Cambridge Glass Co
Gorgeous 10-hole 1927 flower frog, 8.5" in gold krystol (yellow) with type 2 base. Used in flower arrangements and plant propagation. This figural flower frog is a highly sought after collectors item and is part of a rare series of flower frogs made by Cambridge Glass.
The type 1 and type 2 bases are more rare than the type 3 ribbed base. These figural frogs were later produced by other glass companies which produced only the type 3 bases. All type 1 and 2 bases are made by Cambridge Glass Company.
Draped Lady
The first figural flower frog we show is the most commonly found. This one is called “Draped Lady”, and she comes in three sizes: 8, 12 and 13 inches high. (The actual measurements are 8 1/2″, 12 1/2″ and 13 1/4″).
This piece has no flaws whatsoever.
