The sticker pictured is hard to read but is 100% the E. W. Vaill patented campaign chair. The patent date is legible in pictures as January 6, 1963. I believe the manufacture date is May 1870, but again very hard to make out.
Rare antique find! Tiny chair at 22.5 tall and 11.5 wide. These were known for their portability and ease and were commonly carried during the civil war and Victorian era due to these conveniences.
