This Back Riveting Tool from Aircraft Tool Supply is a verry handy, specialized rivet set that is used for driving flush (countersunk) rivets from the back side. This is a quick way to install flush rivets and still produce a beautiful, clean finish. This rivet set is designed to be used with a pneumatic rivet gun. It features a spring loaded sleeve to keep the gun from wondering when riveting, keeping the tool directly over the rivet to produce a good shop head. A bucking bar is not needed when using a back rivet tool. Instead the work piece is placed upside down with the rivet heads against a heavy steel plate. This plate will take the place of the bucking bar. This requires easy access to both sides of the work piece.
