TR-800-HIK is a complete Powered Air Purifying Respirator featuring an Intrinsically Safe (IS) motor/blower - certified by UL with an IS rating of Division 1: IS Class I, II, III under standard UL 60079, 6th Edition, 2013. NIOSH approved filters and cartridges help protect against hazards like particulates, nuisance odors, organic vapors and acid gases potentially found in chemical handling, oil and gas refining, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Warning: Respirators help protect against certain airborne contaminants. Before use, the wearer must read and understand the User Instructions provided as a part of the product packaging. Follow all local regulations. In the U.S., a written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910. 134 including training, fit testing and medical evaluation.
