I bought a tote of old tossed away stuffed bears at an auction recently. It made me think, at one point, 75+ years ago, this toy was loved fiercly by a child. Just because that person is no longer a child doesn't mean the bear is any less worthy of love and care.
Each bear has been humanely frozen for 72 hours and thawed to kill all dust mites. Any areas that are wipeable have been cleaned. Part of the charm of these old bears is how imperfect they are so not a lot of cleaning has been done, but dust mites? Nope, not a chance.
