Malaysian Trumpet Snails make a great addition to any aquarium! These small burrowing snails will help prevent the buildup of toxic gas bubbles in your aquarium's substrate. They will eat any food your fish leave behind and help to keep all surfaces, including live plants, free of algae. They do not eat live plants unless starving. These snails can thrive in tanks as small as a gallon and can look wonderful in desk or countertop aquascapes. In addition to making great tiny pets, Malaysian Trumpet Snails are a nutritious feeder snail for small Pufferfish. Our snails are raised in clean tanks alongside a variety of fish at White River Aquatics in White Cloud, Michigan. They are fed a diet of naturally grown algae and shrimp, along with any fish food they find while roaming their tanks. They are available in sizes ranging from .25" to 1.5" Tank Requirements: Minimum 1 gallon, freshwater, light and natural algae, aeration. Sizes are approximate.
